Speech advice for presidential candidates

1. Do not call your audience "my friends" more than once in your speech. I now cringe everytime I hear it. It's really disingenuous. President Kennedy sounded good when he said, "My fellow Americans" because it sounded natural and patriotic at the same time.

2. Do not address people as "citizens of the world." It sounds like you advocate a one-world government.
